March 28, 2003 – Team Coast has parted company with Alex Zülle (SWI) and Luis Perez (SPA) on good terms. Both riders expressed the wish to sign with new teams. After conferring with the UCI Cycling Federation, Team Coast agreed to their request. “We are sorry about this decision,” said trainer Wolfram Lindner, “but we do not feel weakened. Satisfied riders are always the best riders”.

Team Coast will be entering a group of experienced racers for the Criterium International (29.03-30.03) which will be held in France. The race consists of three short stages over two days. On Saturday there's road-race followed by two stages on Sunday. A mountain stage is scheduled in the morning and Swiss rider, Niki Aebersold, thinks of he has a good chance to capture one of the top spots. The GC will be decided with the final chrono-race scheduled in the afternoon, and both German riders, Daniel Becke and Thomas Liese, feel good about this stage of the competition
