December 7, 2009 (Mol, Belgium) – Maarten Wynants (Bel) Quick Step won the ‘Move to Improve’charity cyclocross race in Mol, Belgium on Saturday. The race was put on by the QuickStep ProTour team and included a fundraiser auction. The unique thing about the race was that the roster was filled with ProTour roadies who don’t normally race cyclocross.

Tom Boonen’s (Bel) QuickStep bike and the white jersey which Kevin Seeldraeyers (Bel) QuickStep won in the Giro were up for grabs. Boonen’s bike raised 15,000 Euro (over 23,000 CAD) and his jersey went to a new owner for half of that. The auction garnered over 30,000 Euro (nearly 50,000 CAD).
