August 22, 2003 (Hamilton, ON) – With the Road World Cycling Championships less than two months away, the Hamilton 2003 World's Organizing Committee announced today that single day tickets will go on sale Wednesday August 27th. Tickets will be sold for all of the individual days of the event, which starts on Tuesday, October 6th and ends on Sunday, October 12th. More than 250,000 spectators are expected over the 6-day event and fans are urged to snap up their tickets as Hamilton will be at the centre of the world come October!!

The weekly passes for the event have been on sale since April and fans are reminded they offer great savings over purchasing tickets on a day-by-day basis. Fans buying weekly event passes will realize a savings of $120.00 (Cdn. Funds) on the Gold Grandstand tickets and a savings of $50.00 (Cdn. Funds) on the Silver Standing tickets over purchasing tickets for each single day. In addition, fans purchasing Week Passes will also receive savings ($20 Grandstand, $10 Standing) over buying tickets for Saturday and Sunday only, which are traditionally the two most well-attended days.
