May 10, 2014 (Welwyn Garden City) – Canada’s Leah Kirchmann (Can) Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies finished a strong 7th as Marianne Vos (Ned) Rabo Liv women cycling team topped the field again winning Stage 2 from Cheshunt to Welwyn Garden City, 87.8km, for her second consecutive stage victory.
Giorgia Bronzini (Ita) Wiggle Honda was second and Lucy Garner (Gbr) Great Britain was 3rd. Vos has a 19s lead on the GC over Emma Johansson (Swe) Orica AIS in second with Rossella Ratto (Ita) Estado de Mexico Faren in 3rd at 22s. Kirchmann is 12th overall while her teammate Denise Ramsden is 27th overall.Results
