Derek Gee the current men’s points leader is at a track event in Trinidad but the women’s leader Natasha Elliot (Trek Hyperthreads) will be there along with 2nd place in the men’s standing and fellow teammate Derrick St. John. Former Canadian National Road Champion Bruno Langlois has signed up as well.

Safety and fun are the focus of these events but a little competition never hurts. The finish has been changed to “Papa” Stairway to Heaven. This is the third short climb in succession on Concession 12 and reaches a maximum gradient of 25%. From the finish it’s a short ride back to Wheelers and their menu of pancakes and sausages.

Can’t wait to see you there and at the next event, Wheelers Maple Highlander on June 22nd!
