June 12, 2007 – We would like to express congratulations to all riders who have successfully qualified for the Western Canada Games Team 2007, as listed below. We would also like to thank all of the riders who participated in the qualifying events for making this such a closely contested competition. We hope to see all of the riders going on to success in the future at all levels.

As part of making the team, all riders must submit weekly training feedback to the Provincial Coach by email or phone, and are now able to obtain additional coaching from him if they wish.

Selection Details

WCG team – 5 male and 5 female riders have been selected (riding both Road and MTB XC).

Team Activities

All riders must be part of the training camps leading up to the games. You will need to be free from the 31st of July to the 12th of August for
the following activities, for which costs (travel, accommodation, and hopefully all food) will be covered:

– Training camp (Road and MTB) Sunshine Coast: July 31st to August 2nd
– Road stage race, Kelowna: August 3rd to 5th
– Depart for Western Canada Games: 7th August
– Return from Western Canada Games: 11th August
