July 29, 2008 – For 4 consecutive weeks starting August 7, West Coast Racing will be leading weekly youth cross country mountain bike rides for ages 10-16. These will be casual rides with the intent of showing young riders around the local XC trails and connecting them with other youths who like to ride, in a supervised environment. Of course, the main goal is to have some fun — it is summer, after all!
WHO: Any youth aged 10-16 with a mountain bike and helmet!
WHEN: Every Thursday night from 6:30pm — 8:00pm, August 7/2008 — August 28/2008
WHERE: Burnaby Mountain and other locations within the B.C. Lower Mainland
HOW MUCH: $30 for 4 weeks, or $10 per ride (all proceeds will be directed back into the club’s youth program), cash or cheque payable to West Coast Racing.
DETAILS
– All participants must sign up before the ride by sending an email to WCR Youth Program Coordinator
– Participants who are new to the club must sign a waiver before participating in the first ride. To download required waiver (must complete “PARENTAL CONSENT” section) click here.
