March 20, 2006 – Calgary’s Rich W. sent us some comments about getting ProTour coverage currently shown in the USA also broadcoast in Canada. In Rich’s words, “It may be worth noting that us poor northerners (Canucks) are going without OLN Cyclysm Sundays now that Lance isn’t racing. In 2005 we did enjoy these Sunday rides. Oddly enough it seems that fishing in the tropics, strongest man shows from 2003, and other repeating programs rate far higher than the occasional Pro-Tour coverage.”

“According to some genius the following of cyclists here in igloo-land (just kidding) and our history of great riders (Olympics, Commonwealth, triathletes, mountain biking, north-shore, etc…) is sufficient that we don’t need additional encouragement.”

“Word is that Bell Globe Media dictates the programming. Encouraging emails can be sent to OLNfeedback@tsn.ca – let them know that Canadians want pro cycling on Sundays too!”
