July 29, 2019 (Dacre, ON) – The 4th event of the Gravel Cup, the Walsh Wiltshire Beer Renfrew Randonneur was held on Saturday July 27th in the foothills of (Ontario’s Highlands). Hot temperatures did not deter the 143 participants who found lots of respite in the shaded areas of the course.

Natasha Elliott (Trek Hyperthreads) made it 4/4 in the women’s event and now has a commanding lead for the overall yellow jersey. Rounding out the podium was Jennifer Stephenson (nine2fivepro) and Emilie Fortin (Velo Peak Centre)

Derrick St. John (Trek Hyperthreads) won his 2nd in a row riding after riding away from a bridging Doug Van den Ham (nine2fivepro) and keeps the overall yellow jersey. Steve Chapman (nine2fivepro) finished 3rd.

The next event and series finale, the Wheelers Maple Lanark-Lombardy will be held on Saturday Sept 7th followed by an encore event on Sunday Sept 8th, the Kin Vineyards Fall Grally.
