December 16, 2006 – Volkswagen-Trek (VW-Trek) has now become recognized as a continental team and also announced its 2007 roster with five senior riders returning and four new members joining the team according to Veloptimum.

Two junior cyclists, Marc Allard and Guillaume Blais-Dufour complete the 2007 roster.
The team has rented a house in California for winter training and will participate in some regional races. Coach Josée Robitaille said, “VW-Trek will remain a springboard for ambitious cyclists who want to access a higher level network of races and know exactly where they want to go.”
Races on the team’s 2007 calendar include Bermuda GP, GP de Beauce, Altoona and Montréal-Boston, Coupes de la Paix, Canadian championships, BC Superweek, GP de Charlevoix and the Mardis cyclistes de Lachine. As the season progresses VW-Trek will add other events to its calendar.
