February 23, 2012 (Dominican Republic) – Canada’s Bruno Langlois (Can) 1% For the Planet landed on the podium on the 137.2km Stage 4 of the Vuelta Independencia Nacional from San Cristobal to Bani. He finished at the head of the field with two other riders and gained 4s over the rest of the field with his fellow escapees and earned another 4s in bonus time, which catapulted him up to eighth place in the GC.  Ruslan Tleubayev (Kaz) Astana Continental leads the overall. Arman Kamyshev (Kaz) Sel. Kazahastam won the stage, while Canadians Gavriel Epstein (Can) 1% For the Planet and Etienne Samson (Can) 1% For the Planet finished 70th and 91st, respectively.
