Awesome and inspiring kids’ Triathlon held right in Picton, at the Prince Edward Fitness and Acquatic Centre (the old RecPlex). The Bloomfield Bicycle Club is seeking volunteers to marshal the cycling portion of the course. This prestigious job mostly involves standing at a designated spot and making sure that the participants know where they’re going and that the public stays out of the course. Volunteers get free T-shirts and snacks and a wonderful sense of accomplishment. If you are interested in being a volunteer for the morning of June 1st, 2008, starting at about 8am, please contact us at the BBC and we’ll send you a form to fill out and put your name on the map!

Milford Bicentennial Cycling Weekend An OCA sanctioned race that includes something for everyone! On Saturday there will be a Road Time Trial and a Personal Best Race (including bits of Macaulay Mountain) and on Sunday there will be a full-on Road Race.

The Bloomfield Bicycle Club is seeking folks interested in volunteering for these events as course Marshals. Most of the folks from our club will be working in Macaulay Mountain on the Personal Best Course as marshals. If you’re interested drop us a line over here in Bloomfield and we’ll put you on the off-road map!
