July 24, 2008 (Burnaby, BC) – A few more people have offered to help with the 2008 Track Nationals. Thanks to everyone who has stepped up! If you haven’t and you’re available that week, please let me know. Registration, concession, a few more beer gardeners, first aid…there’s plenty to do.

Pre-event we need to do some track maintenance. If you’ve been to the track recently you’ll have noticed the patina of masking tape with numbers and X’s indicating areas in need of attention. Thanks to Jeremy and Mike R. for identifying these areas.

Gary Cowburn has offered to get in there and do some work, but this is definitely a “many hands” situation. If you have some wood working skills or just want to haul stuff around, I’m sure Gary can put you to work. Ideally we’ll pick a Saturday to get in and focus for a few hours. Pizza and beer will be provided when the power saws and chisels are safely stowed! If you can help, pls drop us a line!
