June 2, 2004 – Trek VW Racing Team will be hosting the first ever criterium
in Yaletown, Vancouver on Wednesday June 30 starting at 4pm.
This event is part of the bike month calendar. The Trek VW team has put on
many events in the past, the main race being the Harris Roubaix, the first
of six races in the BC Cup series. This year the Harris Roubaix’s attendance
set a new one day event record for participation!

Yaletown as you can imagine will be a very complicated event with downtown
road closures, multiple businesses and residents being affected. The
organisers have full support of the city of Vancouver and the Yaletown
business association in running the event.

Many volunteers will be required to contribute to the success of the event.

assign duties.
