May 27, 2006 – The Wedgewood Cycling Club is hosting the BC Provincial Road Race Championships in Point Grey on June the 18th and in order to do so, we need your help! We are looking for people to act as COURSE MARSHALS for the day of the race. This involves, helping to direct the racers on the course and keeping the course safe from traffic and pedestrians and is a great way to watch the event.
All volunteers receive a t-shirt, coffee, muffin, snacks, cold drinks and lunch. Besides being the Provincial Championships, the race is also a fund raiser for the BC Cancer Foundation.

-Time: 7am until 3pm
-Location: Point Grey (Exact meeting location is still to be determined but it
will be in the Start/Finish area – the merchant corridor on West 10th Ave)
