July 24, 2007 – Kazakhstan’s Alexandre Vinokourov (Astana) has tested positive for blood transfusion after winning the Stage 13 ITT in Albi as reported in L’Equipe. Another test was taken after yesterday’s Stage 15 which Vinokourov also won and is being analyzed. The Astana team has also quit the Tour according to the report.
