VeloSelect-Apogee Racing Team Takes 1st UCI Podium of 2018

April 28, 2018 (Ngueniene, Senegal) – VeloSelect-Apogee rider William GoodFellow placed 3rd on the 114.9km Stage 6, Ndangane to Ngueniene, of the 2018 edition of the Tour du Senegal a UCI 2.2 Stage Race, on the UCI Africa Tour calendar. Held annually since 2001 this year’s edition runs April 17-29.

The stage was won by former Israel Cycling Academy rider, Dan Craven following a successful breakaway that stayed away to the line and was not caught by the peloton as riders in the break took their own chances to win. With his victory Craven took over the race lead. The previous stages were bunch sprints. This is VeloSelect-Apogee Racing 1st UCI podium of 2018.
