February 25, 2014 (Phoenix, AZ) – The Valley of the Sun Stage Race wrapped up after three stages with the final stage criterium in Phoenix, Arizona. Carmen Small (USA) Specialized-lululemon won the Pro Women’s race, while the top Canuck was Lex Albrecht (Can) Twenty16 Professional Cycling Team. Small’s teammate, Evelyn Stevens (USA) Specialized-lululemon, won the overall GC, while Canada’s Karol-Ann Canuel (Can) Specialized-lululemon finished sixth, with Albrecht eighth overall.

In the men’s competition, Luis Amaran (Cub) Jamis Hagens Berman p/b Sutter took the Stage 3 criterium win. Ryan Roth (Can) Jet Fuel Coffee/Norco Bicycles was the best Canadian in seventh to finish ninth overall. Daniel Eaton (USA) Canyon Bicycles-Shimano took the Pro Men’s GC victory.
