January 18, 2010 (Vancouver, BC) – Happy new year from the VACC! We begin 2010 at a new office. Thanks to you, our members, volunteers, and funders — and all who have participated in a VACC program — 2009 has been an incredible year. From the Protected Lanes Trial on the Burrard Street Bridge and the opening of the Central Valley Greenway to the new Great Rides program, from stellar Bike to Work Week events to Streetwise Cycling and Bike to School courses, and from the thousands of volunteer hours put in by our advocacy committees, the message is clear: Metro Vancouverites love to bike! Watch for a year-end report prior to the VACC’s next AGM (March 2010).
