August 8, 2009 (Mount Snow VT) – We’ve just received word that Catharine Pendrel (Can) Luna Pro has won the women’s XC in Mount Snow, Vermont at US ProXCT #5 running from Aug. 7-9. Geoff Kabush (Can) Team Maxxis-Rocky Mountain won the men’s XC.

Canada has a strong contingent of riders in Vermont following the back-to-back MTB World Cups recently held at MSA and Bromont. Pendrel won at MSA and placed 3rd in Bromont while Canada’s Geoff Kabush (Team Maxxis-Rocky Mountain) won his first MTB World Cup in Bromont following his 3rd place finish at MSA.
