November 21, 2002 – Continuing a supplier relationship that was established at the inception of its first professional team in 1990, Tailwind Sports, the sports marketing company that owns and manages the U.S. Postal Service Pro Cycling Team, announced that it has once again chosen San Marco as the USPS team's exclusive saddle supplier.

“We are delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with San Marco,” said Dan Osipow, Vice President of Tailwind Sports. “This will be San Marco's eighth year of supplying the U.S. Postal Service team with the best saddles in the world, but our relationship with San Marco goes back even further, back to the early 1990s.”

San Marco's relationship with Tailwind Sports began with the company's first cycling team, the Subaru-Montgomery team, back in 1990, continued when the USPS signed on as the team's title sponsor in 1996, and has evolved with the team throughout each of the successive 12 years.
