March 15, 2010 (San Dimas, CA) – Sid Taberlay (Aus) Sho-Air/Specialized won the Pro Men’s short track race on Sunday at Bonelli Park, followed by Todd Wells (USA) Specialized in second and Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (USA) Subaru-Gary Fisher in third. Max Plaxton (Can) Sho-Air/Specialized lead the Canadians in 5th.
Heather Irminger (USA) Subaru-Gary Fisher won the women’s Short Track race over Lene Byberg (Nor) Specialized in second and Kelli Emmett (USA) Giant in 3rd.
In the men’s Super D it was Plaxton and Geoff Kabush (Maxxis-Rocky Mountain) on top with a 1-2 punch followed by Dana Weber (Trek/World Bicycle Racing) in 3rd. Pua Sawicki (Okole Stuff.Com) took the women’s race over Emmett in second and Byberg in 3rd.
Plaxton and Emmett topped the US Triple Crown Final Standings which scored the XC race and the best of the Short Track and Super D results
