April 28, 2013 (Roswell, Georgia) – The US Speed Week Series of seven races from April 27 to May 5 kicked off on Saturday with the 34th edition of the Terrapin Twilight Criterium in downtown Athens, Georgia, also part of the US Crit Championship Series.

Kevin Mullervy (Champion System p/b Stan’s NoTubes) won the men’s race with Gavriel Epstein (Champion System p/b Stan’s NoTubes) the top Canuck in 10th. Erica Allar (CARE4CYCLING p/b Solomon Corp) topped the women’s field and Joanie Caron (Primal Pro Women p/b BH) lead the Canucks in 15th.

At Round 2, the Historic Roswell Criterium in Roswell, Georgia, Allar was in charge again with Caron 9th while Luke Keough lead a UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling podium sweep with Hilton Clarke in second and Carlos Alzate (UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling) in third.
