May 6, 2011 (Spartanburg, SC) – Jennifer Purcell (Crumpton Cycles) topped the field in the women’s 50-lap Spartanburg Regional Classic taking the victory over Laura Van-Gilder (Mellow Mushroom) in second and Christina Gokey-Smith (Rouse Bicycles) in third. Canada’s Anne Samplonius (Rouse Bicycles) finished in 18th.

Following up on his Walterboro victory Jakob Keough (United Heathcare) took another win besting Ricky Escuela (Full Circle Sports) in second with Keough’s teammate Hilton Clarke in third. Adam Thuss (Trek Red Truck p/b Mosaic Homes) lead the Canadians again in 22nd.
