June 10, 2006 – Calling all cyclists, hikers, dog walkers, trailrunners, birdwatchers–any and all volunteers welcome!

Join SORCE bike club volunteers at their next trail day on June 18th at South Surrey Bike Park, at 9:30 am. This trail day is sponsored by Alder Crossing Starbucks– in addition to free coffee and 3 volunteers of their own, they donate $10 per volunteer hour to our club up to a maximum of $1000!!. This money will be earmarked for the new reservoir skills area which is in the planning stage for 2007.

This is also the last trailday before the Bike Fest and is the last chance to clean up the trails, and brush back some of the spring growth and get the Dirt Jumps groomed for the Jam . This month the BBQ returns at 12:30 for our Father’s Day BBQ and family ride. Free lunch for SORCE member volunteers!

Put something back into the park and come on out. Kids, drag your Dad off the couch and get him in the woods.
