February 24, 2007 (London, Ontario) – The University Trak Challenge being held at the Forest City Velodrime in London, Ontario on March 23rd. This event has come together very quickly and I am happy to announce that THERE IS $800 IN CASH PLUS PRIZES. If you are interested in competing please indicate your interest RIGHT AWAY by email and return the attached forms as quickly as possible. University Track Challenge 2007
ITINERARY
– 9:00 a.m. — 10:30 a.m. – Learn to ride for ALL NOVICE LEVEL RIDERS to the track. You will need to be at the track for 8:30 a.m.
– 10:30 a.m. — 12:00 noon – Open practice for intermediate and advanced riders.
– 12:00 noon — 1:00 p.m. — Pre-race info session and Lunch.
– 1:00 p.m. — 6:00 p.m. – Racing.
– 6:30 p.m. – Awards.
– 7:00 p.m. Beginning of Six Day. Stick for the festivities and see what University track cycling can grow into for 2007-2008.

NOTE: If time is available in the racing schedule, we will be running a special co-ed event, which will be announced in the very near future.
BEFORE YOU ENTER
In order to compete as an intermediate or advanced class rider you will have to complete level 1 and 2 track certification.
Exemptions to this rule may be made at the discretion of the organizers for athletes who have extensive experience on the track and who can demonstrate exceptional bike handling skills on this particular facility. The advanced category will only be open to riders who have a UCI or U.S. License.
NOTE: We require a minimum of ten people to run this event. If we do not meet that number we will contact individuals with plenty of notice so people can change their plans.
