September 18, 2003 – The first of 4 races that comprise the University Cup will be taking place this weekend at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre in Mansfield, Ontario.
The series was established to introduce university and college students to the sport of cross country mountain bike racing as well as to provide a venue for experienced student-athlete racers to develop. The philosophy of the series has always been that sport should be fun and the growth of the series is a testament to the success of that goal.
