June 29, 2003 (Mont-Ste-Anne, QC) – Gunn-Rita Dahle (NOR, Merida Intern'l) scored her third UCI World Cup win today at Mont-Ste-Anne, Quebec in the third round of the series. With a gap of over a minute and a half, Dahle beat teammate Sabine Spitz (GER) and Team Specialized rider Barbara Blatter, (SUI) who was fifteen seconds down on Spitz in third.

Canadian Marie-Helene Premont (Oryx) had one of her best ever World Cup results when she finished in 5th place today. Fellow Canadians Chrissy Redden (Gary Fisher Subaru) and Alison Sydor (Trek-Volkswagen) cracked the top ten as well, in 7th and 8th place respectively. Gears Racing's Kiara Bisaro was 20th, while teammate Trish Sinclair was 24th. While there were only seven DNFS, only fifty-six of the seven-seven women finished on the same lap as the winner.

Dahle is the obvious leader, sitting in 1st overall with two events remaining in the series. She's leading the pack with 750pts, 150pts ahead of her closest rival, teammate Spitz. Irina Kalentieva, another teammate, is sitting in third with 470pts.

Premont is sitting in 7th place overall, with 264 pts she is currently Canada's top ranked rider. Redden has 221 pts which puts her in 9th place overall and Sydor is sitting in 12th place with 195 pts.
