UCI/MTB World Cup 4X #3

June 28, 2003 (Mont-Ste-Anne, QC) – Eric Carter (USA, Mongoose-Hyundai) took the men's 4X, earning himself 50 pts towards the overall series. Cedric Gracia (FRA, Siemens/Cannondale) was second earning 40 pts with Wade Bootes (AUS, Trek-Volkswagen) in third with 30 pts. Canada's Jordie Lunn qualified in 31st place.

Carter's win secured him the leaders position with 140 pts. Michal Prokop (CZE) is sitting in second place with 86 pts and Gracia is in third with 70 pts.

In the women's event it was Australia's Katrina Miller (Jamis) who took the win over American Jamie Lilly. Japan's Moi Suemasa (Trek-Volkswagen) was third. Canadian Claire Buchar made the semi final against Sabrina Jonnier (FRA, Intense/Fox), Tai-Lee Muxlow (AUS) and Anneke Beerten (NED) and finished 8th. Fellow Canadian Michelle Dumaresq qualified in 9th place.
