May 27, 2006 (Fort William, Scotland) – Canada’s Marie-Hélène Prémont (Rocky Mountain-Business Objects) won silver today at the UCI MTB World Cup. She was second behind Gunn-Rita Dahle (Multivan-Merida) after the first lap when Dahle had a technical problem and fell back. Prémont lead for the rest of the race but was overtaken by Nina Göhl (GER, Multivan-Merida) near the end and settled for silver. Dahle came back from 40th to finish in 4th.
