May 29, 2006 (Fort William, Scotland) – Scottish fans cheered enthusiastically Saturday evening as women’s and men’s four-cross series leaders Jill Kintner (USA, G.T.) and Michal Prokop (CZE, Author) swept all of their heats to take World Cup victories and add to their overall leads.

Kintner used the tried and true tactic of being first into the initial corner of four and holding the advantage through the 240-metre course. The Czek Republic’s Jana Horakova (CZE) jumped and bumped down the exciting run to take second, while Tara Llanes (USA, Giant-Pearl Izumi) pulled off a third-place performance in the final.

Kinter leads the series with 500 points, Sabrina Jonnier (FRA, Iron Horse) is second with 170 points and Horakova holds third with 150 points.

Prokop used the same dominating method as Kintner, allowing him to finish as the undisputed champ. American four-cross star Brian Lopes (USA, G.T.-Oakley) had to settle for second, despite strong performances, while Chris Kovarik (AUS, MS-Intense Factory-Racing) rocketed into third spot.

Prokop holds the series lead with 500 points. Roger Rinderknecht (SUI, G.T.) is in second with 220 points and Lopes rolls into third overall with 200 points.
