UCI Update on Countries Qualified for 2009 Road World Championships

August 17, 2009 – Here are the countries qualified for the Elite Men/U23 road race (Sept. 23-27 in Mendrisio, Switzerland) according to the classification of nations as of Aug. 15, 2009 for the UCI World Classification and UCI Continental Circuits, and according to the individual classifications of the UCI World classification and UCI Continental Circuits:

The five first Nations at the final ranking of the UCI Nation’s Cup can add one extra rider.

According to the article 9.2.012, the U23 Continental Champions may be entered automatically in addition to the number of participants which are allotted to their federation:
