August 11, 2013 (Mont-Ste-Anne, QC) – Reigning Canadian DH champ Micayla Gatto (PerformX Commencal) was the top Canuck on Sunday with a great run to finish 8th – her best WCup result this year – at round #4 of the UCI DH World Cup won by Emmeline Ragot (Fra) Lapierre Gravity Republic. Manon Carpenter (Gbr) Madison Saracen Downhill Team landed 2nd on the podium and Floriane Pugin (Fra) GSTAAD-Scott took 3rd. Top-seeded Rachel Atherton (Gbr) GT Factory Racing, who won the last three rounds, crashed in the final and ended up 12th.
