June 2, 2010 (Saguenay, Quebec) – The 3rd edition of UCI Nations Cup-Ville de Saguenay in Quebec is about to get underway on Thursday, June 3. It is the 6th of seven races that are part the UCI Nations Cup for the world’s best male riders between the ages of 19 to 22 years. It’s the only event of this series to be held outside Europe and will run this year from June 3-6.
Almost 80 riders representing 18 countries will start the 4-day stage race. Most notably, the cyclists will face difficult circuits that include short steep climbs on three of those stages and that will surely split the field.
Amongst the favourite of note on the highly talented startlist are the defending champion Johan Lebon of France, Colombian Darwin Atapuma, Danish climber Ricky Jorgensen, and American Benjamin King. Local Canadian rider David Boily will be on the hunt for a strong GC results after a very good showing at the Tour of California.

– Stage 1: June 3rd, 140.7km over a 20,1km circuit in Jonquière
– Stage 2: June 4th, 148,4km over a 21,2km circuit in La Baie
– Stage 3: June 5th, 141 km over a 14.1km circuit race in Kenogami
– Stage 4: June 6th, 128,4 km over a 10,7km in Chicoutimi.
