March 22, 2009 (Desoto, Texas) – The 2009 USA Cycling BMX Championships in Desoto, CA this weekend feature UCI North American Continental races on Friday, Mar. 20 and Sunday, Mar. 22. Canada’s Danielle Brisson from BC was 5th in the Elite Women’s race on Friday won by the USA’s Dominique Daniels (Gilbert, Ariz.), while Kaila Sweeney from Calgary, AB was 8th. In the Junior men’s competition Canada’s Tory Nyhaug from Alberta was 4th. Look for more results from today’s competition.
