August 11, 2019 (Lenzerheide, SUI) – Canada’s Catharine Pendrel (Clif Pro) landed on the Elite Women’s podium in 5th today at UCI MTB World Cup XCO #6 in Lenzerheide, Swi., marking her first podium this season. Jenny Rissveds (Swe) claimed her first World Cup victory winning the 24.8 km Elite Women’s race (start loop + 5 laps) since winning gold at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Laurie Arseneault (Can) placed a career-best 12th in the U23 Women’s 20.6 km competition (start loop + 4 laps) won by Martina Berta (Ita) Torpado Ursus took the win over Ronja Eibl (Ger) Corendon-Circus in second with Haley Batten (USA) third. Fellow Canuck Juliette Tetreault was 27th.Results
