August 10, 2013 (Mont-Ste-Anne, QC) – Canada’s Peter Disera led from the start to dominate the 20.5km (5-lap) Junior men’s xc race today at the UCI MTB World Cup at Mont-Ste-Anne with Lucas Newcomb (USA) taking second and Marc Andre Fortier putting in a strong performance to claim third.

In the U23 Men’s 24.6km 6-lap race Anton Cooper (Nzl) Cannondale attacked on the 5th lap and hammered away for a solid victory over Julian Schelb (Ger) in second with Reto Indergand (Sui) BMC taking home third. The top Canadian was Antoine Caron who claimed 11th in a photo-finish with Andrey Fonseca (Crc) BI&Esse Carrera.
