UCI MTB World Championships DH Junior Timed Session Report, Full Results – Canada’s Feniak Tops Field

September 01, 2012 (Leogang, Austria) – Canada’s Holly Feniak, from Sunshine Coast in B.C., turned heads this morning topping the Junior Women’s field in the timed sessions at the UCI MTB DH World Championships in Leogang, Austria. The young rider is racing at her first UCI World Championships in her first season as a Junior Women showing she’s a world championship contender by posting the fastest time in her category. Feniak rode the course with a time of 4:07.362, a gap of 11s over the second fastest rider. For the Junior Men Canada’s Mckay Vezina lead the charge behind Loic Bruni of France who was fastest down the mountain – full results below.
