August 30, 2013 (Pietermaritzburg, South Africa) – Canada landed two riders in the top 10 as McKay Vezina placed 7th and Mark Wallace was 9th in the Junior Men’s Downhill finals at the UCI MTB World Championships won by Richard Rude Jr. (USA) today in South Africa.
In the Junior Women’s DH final Tahnee Seagrave (Great Britain) topped the small women’s field with Danielle Beecroft (Australia) in second and Tegan Molloy (Australia) 3rd. Defending champ, Canadian Holly Feniak, did not compete due to the affects of a concussion she suffered earlier this season.
