September 01, 2012 (Leogang Austria) – Anneke Beerten (Netherlands) defended her UCI MTB 4X World Championship Elite women’s title on Saturday winning the Big Final over Romana Labounkova (Czech Republic) in second with Céline Gros (France) third and Anita Molcik (Austria) 4th.
Roger Rinderknecht (Switzerland) pulled out all the stops to claim the Elite men’s crown with Michael Mechura (Czech Republic) taking home the silver and Tomas Slavik (Czech Republic) the bronze with top qualifier David Graf (Switzerland) 4th. Defending champ Michal Prokop (Czech Republic) ended up 5th.Results
