May 19, 2007 – The UCI has updated the MTB points standings and Canada’s Geoff Kabush (Can) Maxxis leads the men’s rankings. The Canadian men are now second behind Spain in the nation standings.

On the women’s side, China’s Ren Chengyuan (Chn) China is in the lead and her country is at the top of the nation ranking. Top Canadian woman in the individual ranking is Kiara Bisaro (Can) Opus in 33rd. Trailing Bisaro by one point is Marie-Hélène Prémont (Can) Rocky Mountain-Haywood in 35th position. As a nation, the Canadian women have moved up to 15th spot from 20th.
