July 27, 2012 (Val d’Isère, France) – Rachel Atherton (Gbr) GT Factory Racing and Cameron Cole (Nzl) Lapierre International lead the charge at the penultimate round of the UCI Mountain Bike DH World Cup in Val d’Isère, France. Three Canadian men are racing including Steve Smith (Devinci Global), Kyle Sangers (Pivot Cycles/Kenda), newly crowned Canadian DH champ, Matthew Beer (Intense/Fox Shox/Easton), Rob Fraser (Lapierre-POC) and Sidney Slotegraaf. The DH World Cup finale will be held Sept. 14-15 in Hafjell, Norway.
