UCI Marathon World Cup #4

July 10, 2005 – Moritz Milatz (GER, Multivan-Merida) and Anna Enocsson (SWE) were the fastest man and woman in the fourth Marathon World Cup in Bad Goisern, Austria. The 100-kilometre climbed a total of 3617 vertical metres.

Alban Lakata (AUT, Specialized) rolled into second place in the men’s race, 3:11 short of Milatz’s time of 4:12:24. Leonardo Paez (COL, L’Arcobaleno) finished third.

In the women’s race, Enocsson’s winning time was 5:09:41. Alexandra Hober (ITA, L’Arcobaleno) placed second, 3:39 behind the leader. Martina Deubler (AUT, DT Swiss-Merida) powered into third place, only 12 seconds back from Hober.
