June 25, 2004 – Mrs. Dominique Raymond, Head of NF relations at the UCI, took part in the Conference of the Pan American Cycling Confederation, which was held on the 19th of June in San Carlos, Venezuela. Nineteen countries were present at the conference. Mrs. Raymond used her time there to strengthen the already close ties between the UCI and NFs, and in particular to identify any new requirements they might have in terms of improving the services offered to them. The discussions also included the possibility of sending trainees to the World Cycling Centre. The Pan American Conference preceded the Pan American Road and Track Championships which will finish on the 27th of June.
