The race, running outside of Europe for the first time, is an historic first for the sport and is the first of three Cyclocross World Championships that will be held at Eva Bandman Park. The UCI Cyclo-cross Masters World Championships return to Louisville again in January 29-30, 2013 and then culminates with the UCI Elite Cyclo-cross World Championships on February 2nd and 3rd, 2013.
Racing begins on Thursday with preliminary heats. World Championship Title races will begin on Friday afternoon and continue through the weekend at Eva Bandman Park. Medal Ceremonies for Saturday’s Champions will be held on Saturday night outside at 4th Street Live! and on Sunday at the race venue immediately following races.
