December 15, 2004 – The 2004/2005 UCI World Ranking has already in full swing in the southern hemisphere. New for this year is the inclusion of Junior Men and Junior Women ranking. Although the Junior ranking does not count for the Elite prize money payout, it will be eligible for Nations Ranking points, giving countries even a greater chance of qualifying for the 2008 Olympic Games.
