October 31, 2011 – The UCI has informed the National Olympic Committees (NOC) about the attribution of places for the Men’s Road cycling events for the 2012 Olympic Games, as indicated in the table below.
This distribution will evolve in accordance with NOC confirmations, which must be sent to the UCI by each NOC before 17 November 2011. After that date, further to the application of the Olympic Qualification System, the UCI will attribute any vacant places as well as any unused NOC spots, as invitations from the tripartite commission, then as reserved places. This attribution will take place between March and April 2012
According to the regulations the Women’s Road cycling places will be attributed on the 31 May 2012.
