May 2, 2007 – The UCI has updated the America Tour rankings and Canada’s Svein Tuft (Can) Symmetrics has climbed from eighth to second place in the individual ranking after winning the U.S. Cycling Open on April 7. Hernan Buenhora Gutierrez (Col) of Colombia is the current leader. Colombia also leads the nations ranking, while Canada has risen to sixth place. Canada’s Symmetrics Cycling Team has also jumped up a spot in the team ranking from fourth to third.
