August 23, 2015 (Val di Sole, Italy) – Grant Ferguson (Gbr) Betch.nl Superior Brentjens MTB Racing Team won the 28.1 km U23 Men’s XC (2.3km start loop + 6 laps) final round in Val di Sole, Italy with Titouan Carod (Fra) Scott Creuse Oxygene Gueret in 2nd and Howard Grotts (USA) Specialized Racing 3rd. Canada’s reigning U23 champ, Alexandre Vialle, finished 86th while teammate Peter Disera crashed out. Vialle was the top Canuck overall in 26th as Carod took the overall series title.
