November 8, 2003 – Development National Coach Jacques Landry and the Calgary National Cycling Centre head coach Kurt Innes have been hired by Warren Lister, High Performance Program Director of the New Zealand Cycling Federation in order to lead the road and track programs.

This opportunity offered to these young coaches represents for them an opportunity to become National Head Coaches of a federation well respected internationally. This carreer opportunity is a recognition of the NCCP Canadian programs quality and of the experience developed within the CCA programs.

Jacques and Kurt have both finished their Level 4 certification at the Calgary and Montreal Coaching Institutes and were in good way to finish their level 5. Both were members of the national team since the junior age and they had brilliantly represented their country at World Championships, Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games. At their retirement, the CCA had offered them an active role in the high performance programs.

Although their departure leaves a great gap within the national team programs, the CCA can only be delighted for this advance in the career of these young professionals.
